AlphaOnco focuses on prostate cancer treatment. Its therapy uses moderate ultrasound heating applied to natural magnetic nano-minerals (called magnetosomes), with treatment performed in a simple manner outside the operating room without general anesthesia.
AlphaOnco’s treatment consists of two medical devices: injectable Magnetosomes which are natural minerals produced by bacteria. They ensure biocompatibility and effective anti-tumor activity under moderate heating. The second device is a Transrectal Ultrasonic Heating Module inducing moderate heating over the whole tumor.
