For more than 15 years, Inria has been developing excellence in digital science research and technology transfer to the regional ecosystem in New Aquitaine.
Created in 2008, the Inria Bordeaux - Sud-Ouest research center now has 19 research teams in Talence and 2 in Pau, supported by 8 administrative departments. It directly employs nearly 200 people who collaborate through our joint teams with 140 others employed by our academic partners (University of Bordeaux, CNRS, Bordeaux INP, University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour, Inserm, Inra and ENSTA ParisTech).
Its research covers various scientific themes (e.g. modeling, high-performance computing, robotics, artificial intelligence, human-machine interaction) with applications in fields such as health, aeronautics, the environment and education.
