NAPA is a deep-tech SME dedicated to industrial manufacturing of nano-patterned surfaces with applications to optical detection, nuclear and biological analysis or tuning of wetting properties. It develops innovative and patented technologies to create high performance surfaces combining bulk properties with those generated by surface patterning at the micro/nanoscales on semiconductors, metals, glass, polymers.
NAPA shares a 2.000m2 semiconductor plant with Si wafer manufacturer Sil’Tronix near Annecy. It has a worldclass platform of nano-imprint lithography and nano-embossing equipment for UV and thermal processing of surfaces ranging from a few mm2 up to almost 1 m2 substrates. Other specialty equipments include spectrometers for optical control of nano-patterns and dedicated benches for wetting measurements (dynamic roll-off angle, fog and frost, …).
We collaborate actively on projects (ANR, DGA, Eurostars) or joint development with customers such as CERN, CNES, MAPED, SAFRAN.
