TARMAQ, future Cité des savoirs aéronautiques et spatiaux in Mérignac (33), will be the flagship site for the regional Aerospace sector.
TARMAQ will make the Aerospace sector more attractive to a wide audience by showcasing its jobs, competences and innovations.
TARMAQ will be the reference site for the diffusion of Aerospace Knowledge, through the following activities:
- Knowledge Acquisition: Education, Training and Access to Employment
- Knowledge Transmission: Heritage and History
- Knowledge Dissemination: Aerospace Culture and Experiences
- Knowledge Valorization: Demonstration and Innovation
TARMAQ is currently implemented by a Pre-Launch Association, founded in 2020 by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, Bordeaux Metropole, the City of Mérignac, and AEROCAMPUS Aquitaine. The TARMAQ Endowmend Fund is dedicated to enabling private donors and corporations to become patrons of the Cité des savoirs aéronautiques et spatiaux.
